"American Horror Story" writers and producers are known to be very secretive when it comes to revealing new season twists, but were they too reckless this time?
Fans' Speculations
"American Horror Story" fans are used to writers heavily guarding their themes, so for the past months, they have speculated about the theme for the next episodes. Show creator Ryan Murphy mentioned that he is working on story ideas that center on children as he was interviewed at Paley Fest early 2016. He said that he is in the process of creating two ideas for the series' season 6. "[Horror] often deals with the innocence of children, and their wide-eyed way into it," he explained.

Virtual Reality Clip at the SDCC
Another surprise for fans who came to Comic-Con 2016 just to get juicy tidbits of the show's next season was a virtual realty clip. The virtual reality clip was just 30 seconds long, but those who have watched it were impressed. The VR clip was able to live up to the terrifying hype, that is "American Horror Story."
Fans even thought that it contained a few teasers too. In a Zimbio report, the clip was called a fearless virtual experience. The clip brings the audience to a morgue with flickering lights via a trolley. There was a corridor lined with jars containing heads and bodies of fetuses.
Did the VR reveal that next season's theme revolves around a horror hospital? And taking the creator's words, could this be a hospital that experimented with children? If so, how would the cast be a part of this madness?
Lady Gaga in Horror Hospital?
One of the most popular speculations among fans was that Lady Gaga may play the role of a hospital director or a mad scientist who experimented on children or who is looking for a cure for a disease. Another claim was that Lady Gaga could be kidnapping children to use for her experiments.
All these will remain as speculations as writers keep mum on the next season's theme. "American Horror Story" season 6 will air on Sept. 14 on FX channel.
