For its Season 8 Episode 2 dubbed "Atlanta Qualifier," competitors on the show had to go through six obstacles like the Pipe Fitter, Block Run and Floating Steps. They performed these obstacles in Atlanta, Georgia, where returning veterans Neil Craver and Drew Drechsel also took part.

The Big Dipper challenge led competitors to hold a metal bar while going down a metal track. This obstacle makes players look like a human roller coaster.
