Anderson Cooper, known for his provocative nightly news show on CNN, has snagged the family of British singer Amy Winehouse as guests for his new daytime talk show, "Anderson," premiering next week.

Cooper, speaking with The Hollywood Reporter (THR), revealed that the very first guests for his new talk show will be Winehouse's parents, Mitch and Janis, and boyfriend, Reg Traviss. The trio was expected to discuss Winehouse's death, battle with drug addiction, career, and more.

"I’ve followed her career for a long time," Cooper told THR. "Her music is extraordinary. And she’s such a remarkable talent. What’s remarkable about this family is they’ve been so public before her death about trying to get her help."

Winehouse, an award-winning British singer, was found dead in her London home on July 23.

It was still not known what killed the 27-year-old singer, and her family revealed on Aug. 23 that "no illegal substances" were found in Winehouse's body at the time of her death.

Cooper, host of "Anderson Cooper 360" on CNN, signed with Telepictures Productions to host and produce the one-hour daily daytime talk show, which premieres on Monday, Sept. 12.

The second episode of "Anderson" will feature interviews with "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe, comedian Kathy Griffin, and Snooki from the "Jersey Shore."

Asked by the Chicago Sun-Times to describe his daytime talk show, Cooper said, "We will be tackling a far broader range of topics… things that will illustrate the wide range of things that interest me - many subjects that may surprise the viewers."
