Rookie goalie John Gibson has done amazingly well for the Ducks in Games 4 and 5, keeping a shutout in his NHL playoff debut and then following that up with a 39-save game in their 4-3 win at home on Monday night in Game 5.

The Kings fought back valiantly in Game 5 but were unable to quite back into it. They were behind by a score of 1-4 late in the second period, but two goals by Marian Gaborik pulled them back to within one with just under 6:00 in the third period.

But Gibson was resolute and he did not allow anymore to get past him. The Ducks managed to close out the game and win 4-3 allowing them to became the first home team to win a game in this series.
