Android 4.1, JellyBean Update and Galaxy Note 10.1 Attacked by Apple?

Even the Android 4.1, JellyBean software update is unsafe from Apple's attacks.

The California-based company has included Android 4.1, JellyBean and the Galaxy Note 10.1 in its already existing lawsuit against other products created by Samsung and Google.

Samsung and Apple have been entangled in legal battles all over the globe, which has lead to the banning of their products in certain countries. It also lead to Samsung having to pay out damages of $1.05 billion thanks to ruling under Judge Lucy Koh that confirmed that Samsung had infringed on multiple Apple patents.

Now Apple has decided to throw in both Android 4.1, and the Galaxy Note 10.1 in its all-out attack against Samsung and its partners.

In related news, Google released the Android 4.1, JellyBean update source code for the AT&T variant of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has been uploaded by Samsung this week.

The company normally makes these codes available to developers just before the launch of a device. They use it to create new applications and programs for the software.

Samsung also released the source codes for the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

AT&T announced that it would be officially launching the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 on Nov. 9 this week.

The carrier will offer the tablet for $499.99. There will also be a special promotion on the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Samsung ATIV smart PC as AT&T will give customers purchasing a new Galaxy smartphone with a 2-year agreement $100 off those devices.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 runs Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and features on-device encryption and VPN access to ensure the tablet is efficient for business.

"Customers purchasing tablets from AT&T have more options in choosing the plan that's right for them and their mobile devices," said the carrier in a press release. "
