Android Marshmallow Updates for LG G4, LG G3, and LG G2 Are Now Being Prepared by LG!

The new LG Nexus 5X is rumored to come out of the box running on Android Marshmallow OS, and recent reports now suggest that the leading electronics company is now preparing its other smartphones, G4, G3, and G2 to run on the latest Android software.

However, since LG is still busy for the launch of the company's new Google Nexus 5X, no official date has been released yet on when will the other three LG phones receive the update. According to Yibada, the LG G4 is rumored to have the Android Marshmallow update by the end of this year, or early 2016. No confirmation on when the update for the new Android OS for the LG G3 and LG G2 was given yet. There are even rumors that say the LG G2 might not get the new Android Marshmallow OS.

The LG G4, LG G3, and G2 devices will skip the Android Lollipop OS, once the new update for the Android Marshmallow is rolled out, according to the International Business Times. This move may not be the best for LG smartphone owners since Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update comes with bug fixes, and has improvements added to the performance of the devices.
