"They're great. They're still so little, but they do [have their own personalities]," Jolie said previously according to People.com. "They're at that [stage] where their personality really starts to shine."

The Hollywood actress is currently down under directing her second feature film "Unbroken," which is set to debut in December 2014.

The film is based on the story of World War II aviator Louis Zamperini, who was stranded in the Pacific Ocean for 47 days after his plane crashed and later sent to a Japanese POW camp.

She is believed to have rented a luxury estate in Sydney for her extended stay. The mansion reportedly belongs to MotoGP champ Mick Doohan.

Jolie, who underwent a preventive double mastectomy in February, has been intent on spending quality time with her children in between her hectic work schedule. On Nov. 16 she and her fiance Brad Pitt brought their son Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 12, to the 5th Annual Governors Ball.

"Mad, I'm not gonna cry. I promise, and I won't embarrass you," Jolie told the crowd while accepting the Humanitarian Award. "You and your brothers and your sisters are my happiness. And there is never a greater honor in this world than being your mom."

In addition to the twins and Maddox, Jolie and Pitt, who got engaged in 2012, are parents to Pax, 9, Zahara, 8, and Shiloh, 6.

In 2012 the "Maleficent" star opened up about her plans for retirement, but she did not specify when exactly she will leave showbiz. Jolie spoke about her love for acting but admitted that being a mother to her six children has become her main priority.

"I think I'm going to have to give up the acting as the kids hit the teenage years, anyway, too much to manage at home," Jolie said in an interview with Britain's Channel 4 News. "I have enjoyed being an actress. I am so grateful to the job and I have had great experiences and I have even been able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered."

Jolie, 37, first began acting at age seven and has since gone on to star in various blockbuster films, even winning an Academy Award in 2000 for "Girl Interrupted."

"I will do some films and I am so fortunate to have the job, it's a really lucky profession to be a part of and I enjoy it. But if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy to be home with the children. I wake up in the morning as a mum and I turn on the news like everybody else and I see what's happening and I want to be part of the world in a positive way," she said.
