AnnaLynne McCord Without Makeup: Twitter Post Pleases Fans

AnnaLynne McCord is best known for her performances as Naomi Clark on her CW hit "90210," and has always appeared in public with a full compliment of make-up. However, the star recently pleasantly surprised fans by appearing make-up free and showing her more natural appearance that people can more easily relate to.

The 24-year-old apparently wanted to let everyone know that she doesn't naturally wake up looking as flawless as some might have thought, and that a lot of work goes into making her appear as she does on her shows.

The actress took to Twitter Friday to post a picture of herself without any make-up on. Along with the photo she added text stating: "I woke up this morning and decided I'm over Hollywood's perfection requirement."

For fans who are used to looking in the mirror and seeing the blemishes everyone has, the posting has come as a fantastic surprise and comfort to know someone who usually looks as perfect on camera as AnnaLynne McCord does also struggles with the same imperfections as all of us.

McCord also added: "To all my girls (and boys) who have ever been embarrassed by their skin! I salute you!
"I'm not perfect - and that's okay with me!"

Fans hoping to see McCord in action again will be able to catch her on the big screen in a new crime drama called "Officer Down." She will be seen alongside Dominic Purcell, Stephen Dorff, James Woods, and David Boreanaz. The film is scheduled for release later this year.
