Apple iPad Pro 2018: Is The TrueDepth Camera Included In The Features People Want to See?

The next edition of the iPad Pro is expected to come with a lot of new camera features, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to reports, the gadget analyst believed that Apple will introduce the TrueDepth cameras to the iPad Pro 2018. This will make it at par with the new iPhone X since it will become the flagship table device of the Cupertino-based tech giant.

"We predict iOS devices to be equipped with TrueDepth Camera in 2018F will include iPhone X and 2018 new iPhone and iPad models. Because of this, we believe more developers will pay attention to TrueDepth Camera/ facial recognition related applications," Kuo said in a note that was published by MacRumors.

If the new TrueDepth Camera feature of the soon-to-be-released iPhone X and the rumored iPad Pro 2018 will be well accepted in the market, the consistent source of Apple device news believed that the competitors will also come up with their own technology to match it.

"We expect Apple's (US) major promotion of facial recognition related applications will encourage the Android camp to also dedicate more resources to developing hardware and facial recognition applications," Kuo added.

Aside from the TrueDepth Camera feature, the upcoming iPad Pro 2018 is expected to come out with a lot of other improvements from the latest version that was released this year.

The new-generation iPad Pro features an A10X processor, a 12-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and quad-LED True Tone flash and wide color capture support, as well as a seven-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video conference functions.

Consumers can also choose which among the 12.9-inch display or the 10.5-inch screen display that they would like to possess. They can also choose to purchase the optional Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil for their iPad Pro.

Apple has yet to confirm Kuo's report about the rumored feature of the iPad Pro 2018 in the coming days.
