Apple Watch Release Date, Latest Rumors: Wearable Tech to Be Released 'Earlier in 2015' for European Market

It seems like the European region may end up getting one of the most anticipated tech devices of the year, the Apple Watch, earlier than what was expected.

The Apple Watch page on the company's official website indicated that the wearable tech would arrive sooner in Europe. Previously, the European sites had the smartwatch announced as "Coming in 2015." The slightly changed phrase now reads that the Apple Watch is "Coming Early 2015."

Although the change of the statement didn't specify an exact release date, it is now consistent with the Apple Watch U.S. outing schedule.

PhoneArena.com speculated that though today is technically considered an "early of 2015," they believe that the Cupertino-based tech giant won't opt to "share the spotlight" with all the tech companies that are slated to make their respective announcements in the upcoming CES event.

The tech website went on to say that the "most logical launch date" would probably fall on "February 14th, Valentines Day."

"That's because Apple has been alone in treating its smartwatch as a piece of fashionable jewelry, something we haven't seen from other manufacturers," the website wrote.

Several other theories like that from Slash Gear pointed out the availability of the raw materials in making the companion device.

They cited Apple Watch's luxury variant reported to be manufacture with sapphire glass. They said that Apple had a hard time procuring it. With the "Early 2015" date, it means that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus maker would be releasing first the relatively cheaper Sport version leaving the "more premium offerings for a later date."
