Apple WWDC 2015: Upcoming Apple Event Will Focus On Software Development

A couple of years ago, the Apple Worldwide Developer's Conference was the venue for new Apple devices, particularly in the MacBook range and other consumer devices.

However, trends change, and the once hardware-focused event has become a software-central conference. Last year, the Cupertino manufacturer did not release any hardware devices, but announced the beta version of iOS 8, and hinted the OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

This year, the focus on software could still be the trend for Apple.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the company has announced its WWDC 2015, which will kick off on June 8.

With the title "The Epicenter of Change," this year's WWDC will probably introduce a brand new iOS 9 for the iPhone, including the latest OS X version that would run on the fresh Macbook lineup.

In the report, interested participants may register on Apple's website, although there are some qualifications.

Enthusiasts who want to become delegates should either be member of the iOS Developer Program, the iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or the Mac Developer Program.

In the report, some of the portions of the event include sessions on Health and Fitness, the Apple Watch, Graphics and Games, Media, and others.

While there are no indications or rumors yet, the report mentioned that the long-rumored iPad Pro could finally be unveiled at the WWDC 2015. First rumored in 2013, the Apple device will allegedly be a hybrid of a laptop and tablet.
