The Arizona Cardinals will play the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7 of the NFL regular season and with both teams flying high at the moment something will have to give on Sunday. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on Fox. Alternatively the game can be watched online through live streaming on the NFL Sunday Ticket (link below).
Both teams come into this game boasting records of 4-2, which is impressive as most would not have given either of these teams much chance at the start of the season. However, for one of these teams that wins today, their record will move up to 5-2 seeing them rise to among the top sides in the NFL. For the other they will move closer to the .500 record at 4-3.
Both have shown they have very strong teams, and although this game at the Mall of America Field in Minneapolis is not a divisional battle, both sides, from their current records, could end up in a wild card showdown.
The Vikings have a solid pass defense ranked 10th in the NFL in yards allowed per game, but they will be up against the Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald who has been on fire so far this season.
The Cardinals have been keeping a consistent rotation in the quarterback slot, but Fitzgerald has been performing and connecting with each one. If he can continue that form on Sunday then the Vikings, even with their tight pass defense, could struggle.
Meanwhile, the Vikings will be looking to running back Adrian Peterson, whose power and agility have been on prominent display already this season.
However, Peterson is not 100 percent and is still recovering from knee surgery. Despite that he has 113 rushing attempts for 499 yards and two touchdowns already this season so far. For a player not even at 100 percent those are some impressive figures. If he can shine on Sunday then the Cardinals could struggle to contain him.
