Arsenal faced Dinamo Zagreb in their first match and lost 2-1. Theo Walcott scored a consolation goal for the Gunners but it was ultimately too late as their Croatian rivals already got out to a 2-0 lead in the game.

Meanwhile, Olympiakos started their campaign at home but were tasked to face a tough Bayern Munich outfit.

The attempt at an upset proved to be too much as they lost 3-0 at home behind goals from Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze.

Now they will look to get their first win of the competition but must do it against another tough team in the London outfit.

Arsenal have looked good in their last two matches across all competition. In the Capital One Cup, they thrashed local rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 to move on to the next round of the competition.

They paired it with a thrilling 5-2 win over Leicester City in the English Premier League and now Arsene Wenger's men are looking to win their third game in as many tournaments against the Greek powerhouse.

As for Olympiakos, their loss to Bayern Munich is their only defeat in their last 13 matches across all competitions.

In the early stages of the Super League, they find themselves on top of the table with a three-point lead over Panathinaikos.

They are hoping to continue their good form by handing Arsenal a loss in London.
