The once infamous call girl that was embroiled in the explosive controversy surrounding former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer has now reveled that she is going to be a mom and a new wife.
Ashley Dupre, 27, became nationally known after it was revealed that Spitzer had requested her services while he was in Washington D.C. in 2007. But now Dupre is seven months pregnant and also stated that she is engaged to be married to Thomas "TJ" Earle who owns The Earle Companies, a large asphalt company in New Jersey.
"On the record, yes, I can confirm I'm almost seven months … I can't tell you when the wedding date is just yet," she told The New York Post.
Dupre and Earle met each other just a few months after the scandal involving Spitzer became a national storyline, while Earle was still married to his wife Alisa, according to reports from those with knowledge of the relationship.
When asked if her new baby will a boy or girl, Dupre kept the answer a secret and only said that the pregnancy is "so far so good."
In the four short years since the controversy began, Dupre has been very busy. She posed for Playboy and opened a women's lingerie and swimsuit store in Red Bank, N.J., called Femme by Ashley, with the help of Earle.
Earle and his wife have already finalized their divorce, which allowed for Dupre and Earle to enter into holy matrimony.
"TJ and his wife divorced over a year ago," Mitchell Ansell, Earle's lawyer, told the NY Post. "They divorced amicably. She has moved on, and he has moved on ...There's nothing scandalous. No one's running around … [Ashley] is pregnant, and [TJ and Ashley] are planning on getting married."
Dupre is happy that things have worked out for the best and is excited for what lay ahead.
"We've all moved on and [are] doing great … Everyone is looking forward to the future," Dupre said.
