Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe specs news: Trumps other devices with its 256 GB storage

The Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe probably trumps all the other devices in terms of memory because it packs a whopping 256 GB of storage.

The standard ZenFone 2 only has a fourth of the storage capacity of the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe. As of now, the availability and price of this Special Deluxe Edition is still unconfirmed, according to Tom's Guide.

The standard model costs around $300, but there is still no word about the estimated price of the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe.

Most smartphones' memory can be expanded up to 256 GB using the microSD slot, but now some phone makers including Samsung have begun doing away with the card slot. Asus soars above its competitors that usually have maximum storage capacity of either 64 GB or 128 GB, the report details.

Another unique feature of the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe is its textured back panel, which makes the phone significantly more attractive compared with the standard model. Customers can choose between the blue (Carbon Night) and white (Drift Silver) variants of the phone, Techno Buffalo reports.

The rest of the phone's features are the same with the Zenfone 2, which was released earlier in 2015. It runs on a 64-bit Intel Atom processor and has 4 GB of RAM, the report relays.

It also boasts of a 5.5-inch full-HD display and a 13-megapixel rear camera, Techno Buffalo adds.

Asus has already launched the original ZenFone 2 in the United States, and critics have showered it with positive reviews. The special edition model, on the other hand, could take a bit more time before it is released in the United States.

What is known for sure is that the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe is bound for Brazil as of now. Its availability in other countries is still unconfirmed.

The official release date of the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe is yet to be announced.
