By halftime, the lead was already at 28-0 and Cam Newton had thrown three touchdown passes to give them the comfortable lead.
They did not let up in the third as Graham Gano joined the scoring with a 38-yard field goal before Fozzy Whittaker made it 38-0 with a rush of 16 yards.
Neither team scored during the final quarter but the domination of Carolina was evident as they steamrolled their closest division rivals.
Now they are looking to complete the season sweep and all signs point to them having the perfect season.
However, they should also expect the Falcons to battle as they do not want to be humiliated in front of their home fans the way they did when they met earlier.
