'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Trailer Previews the Beast Poking a Hole Through Humans' Wall

About a week before the second season of "Attack on Titan" officially goes back to the airwaves, a trailer was released and it previews The Beast tearing down a wall that protects humans from the vicious titans.

The latest trailer for the upcoming "Attack on Titan" season 2 spells nothing but complete chaos. As already expected, fans will see The Beast titan in action and wreaking havoc along with other ruthless titans.

The anime series "Attack on Titan" is based on a same title manga by Hajime Isayama. In it, the world has been overrun by gigantic flesh-eating humanoids. This has forced surviving humans to be locked up in cities, surrounded by enormous walls to keep the titans from attacking them. "Attack on Titan's" story mainly revolves around the protagonist Eren Yeager.

Interestingly, the latest season 2 trailer previews The Beast peeking through a hole in one of the walls that are supposed to protect humans. The question now stands: If the impossible-to-defeat titan known as The Beast has successfully made a crack on one of the stone walls, what chance does humanity have to survive?

On the other hand, Eren and his crew of titan-slaying characters can also be seen in intense action, complete with huge swords, bows and arrows as well as firing cannons to stop the monsters and to protect the humans.

Meanwhile, the synopsis of the premiere of "Attack on Titan" season 2 has already been out through Funimation, as spotted by several reports, and it describes Eren "becoming the thing he hates most" amid his bid to wipe out all human-eating titans. Apparently, this refers to Eren's ability to transform into a titan, which was already shown in season 1 and has been mentioned in the manga.

As the synopsis continues, it teases that Eren will learn to maximize his ability to transform in continuing the war he is waging against the titans. It adds that after Eren defeats the Female Titan, the main protagonist will have no time to rest as he has to rush to Wall Rose where many Titans are flocking to.

Reports have it that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will premiere on Saturday, April 1, and will be simulcast by Funimation network for fans in the U.S. and Canada.
