Award-Winning Author to Write 7-Book Series on Life of A.W. Tozer

An award-winning author has signed with Christian publisher Regal to write a total of seven books on the life of legend of faith A.W. Tozer.

The Rev. James L. Snyder, whose writings have appeared in more than 80 periodicals and 15 books, is recognized as an authority on the life and ministry of A.W. Tozer and has written a number of books as well as essays in Christian periodicals about respected writer. Snyder’s first book, In Pursuit of God: The Life of A. W. Tozer, won the Reader’s Choice Award in 1992 by Christianity Today.

“His life is a compelling example of spiritual passion, commitment to lifelong learning, and the integration of theological reflection and ministry,” Ventura, Calif.-based Regal said of Tozer after signing Snyder to pen the upcoming book series.

The seven-book series will include original, never before in print sermons from Tozer, who is widely regarded as one of the most perceptive writers in the 20th century. The first book in the new series will be released next month and is titled The Purpose of Man and The Life of A.W. Tozer.

A book imprint of GospelLight, Regal is publisher of the best-selling titles Moments Together for Couples, Victory Over the Darkness, What the Bible is All About, and The Unquenchable Worshipper. Its stated mission is to provide resources for evangelism, discipleship, and spiritual renewal.
