The last time these two teams played one another was back in March, when Los Blancos won 2-1 thanks to goals from Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos.

However, things have changed a lot in the last 6 to 7 months, and both teams now have new coaches and new players on their rosters. This time the title race is also very much wide open and still waiting for a team to really grab hold of the top spot and take a grip of the title race.

Javier Mascherano returned from injury this week against AC Milan. He did look a little out of match practice, but he should get back to his usual best soon.

Team captain Carles Puyol did not play in Italy after starting against Osasuna last weekend.

Meanwhile for Real, Angel di Maria has done well recently and many may feel it would be harsh if he lost his spot on the starting team. However, it is unlikely that new big money signing Gareth Bale will be left out, and he is getting back to full fitness.

If Bale starts it will be his Clasico debut, which should be a massive experience for him. He will be desperate to play and it will be games like this that he left Tottenham for.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid will kick off at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on beIN Sport and Sky Sports 2, or online through free live stream by clicking here.
