Basketball Wives' Royce Reed 'Humiliated' Following NFL Boyfriend's Scandal

"Basketball Wives" star Royce Reed was left humiliated after her new boyfriend Dezmon Briscoe admitted to sending racy text messages to the mother of his child after having open discussions about marriage with the reality TV star on the VH1 TV show.

"Because I'm on TV doesn't mean I don't hurt or that I don't go through the same trials and tribulations as everyone else. I'm not going to put on a front like I'm okay. My heart hurts!" Royce wrote on her VH1 blog after the incident was made public.

Briscoe, a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player, was forced to come clean about sending the inappropriate texts to Christina Nero after she posted snap shots of the messages on her Twitter page.

In the texts, the 22-year-old makes sexually explicit references to Nero. The NFL star insists that he only sent the texts to increase his chances of seeing his son, claiming Nero makes it difficult. He then took to Twitter to apologize to a humiliated Reed.

"Baby mama wanna be messy so I'll clean it up. I sent the messages she posted...To be on her good side because she has my son," Briscoe tweeted.

"I could of handled the situation better. I'm still wrong and I wanna apologize to @Roycelr because she don't deserve that. Love you," he added.

On Monday night's episode of "Basketball Wives" 31-year-old Reed cried hysterically, insisting that Briscoe was the one during a heated conversation with her father after he refused to support their relationship.

The professional dancer, who has a son with NBA star Dwight Howard, was left feeling "stupid" after she had initially refused to believe Nero about the racy texts. She took to both her blog and Twitter to rant about feeling "embarrassed, humiliated and broken."

"Yes I feel stupid! Yes I feel betrayed! Yes I love @DezBriscoe89 but at this point I love myself more! I honestly don't know what imma do!" Reed tweeted.

As for the couple's future, the mother of one says that she is unsure whether or not she can forgive Briscoe after the incident.

"Do I think what he did was wrong? Absolutely. Are we done…forever? Honestly, I don't know," Reed wrote on her blog.

"Readers can say I'm dumb if I go back, but with relationships come mistakes. I was lied to and lesson learned…I entertained it on Twitter. I let the drama get to me despite being told to ignore it. That was my immaturity in this experience coming out. I admit that," she added.
