'Bates Motel' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot News: Premiere Trailer Hints Incestual Romance Between Mother and Son

The hit psychological drama-thriller "Bates Motel" is about to go full throttle on its level of creepiness as for what its latest Season 3 promo trailer has revealed.

Recently released this Wednesday, the teaser features a different level of eeriness when it showed Norman (Freddie Highmore) getting a little bit more too close than what is normal with his mother Norma (Vera Farmiga).

The scenes featured the mother and son sleeping in one bed, in which Norma was been told: "It's not normal. Norman is 18. He shouldn't be sleeping in one bed with his mom."

Norman also seems to be taking a lot of pleasure holding onto his mother's clothes. The weirdness even escalates when the clip shows Norman undressing the woman.

Putting aside the bizarreness of the trailer, TV.com said in their report that Norman will continue to struggle in coming to terms about his mental condition. His mother will also become more aware and perhaps more disturbed with what's going on with her son.

The publication also indicated that Norma will grow even closer to Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) and will, along the way, turn her attention to Norman's half-brother Dylan (Max Thieriot).

"Naturally, this triggers jealousy in Norman, and a new kind of love triangle erupts between Norma and her two sons," the site noted.

Additional cast members are also expected to appear in the upcoming brand new season. This includes Kevin Rahm from "Mad Men" Tracy Spiradakos from "Revolution" as well as "Sons of Anarchy" starr Ryan Hurst. Their respective characters "will bring pressure from the outside world when they arrive in town."

"Bates Motel" reopens for Season 3 this Monday, March 9 at 9 p.m. on A&E.
