Bayern Munich are one of the consistently strongest teams in European soccer, and are usually a side most would like to avoid until the latter stages of the tournament. This season will be no different and the German side boasts one of the most evenly balanced and efficient sides in the Champions League this season.

Valencia are also a very strong side, and are consistently one of the top teams in La Liga in Spain. If the Spanish side were at full strength many would call this is a very tight match up, with probably most giving Bayern the upper hand, especially with their home advantage. However, Valencia are also suffering from a number of injuries to key players, which could undermine their effort, and should see Bayern come out clearly on top.

For Valencia Ever Banega, Fernando Gago and David Albelda will all be unavailable for the Bayern Munich match. Pablo Piatti, a key attacking midfielder will also be missing from the depleted Valencia midfield, which could potentially see them overrun by their highly competent German opposition.

Bayern Munich on the other hand have managed to rest key players Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery over the weekend, and they will be fresh and ready to wreak havoc on the Valencia defense.

The Germans also have Bastian Schweinsteiger back from injury and with him now returning to the side Bayern Munich boast one of the most powerful midfields in Europe.

Bayern Munich vs Valencia will kick off at 2.45 p.m. ET from the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, and the game can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
