The "Baywatch" movie reboot is slowly coming together, including the cast members who will be playing the roles of the characters in the film. The latest addition is the rising Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra. According to a report by Hindustan Times, it is now confirmed that the "Quantico" star will be part of the film that also stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron.

The announcement of her being part of the film was first made through a video posted on Instagram by Johnson wherein he welcomed Chopra to "Baywatch." The post also revealed that she will not be playing a leading lady role but a villain role which Chopra indicated in her own Instagram post as what she is best at - being bad.

According to Entertainment Online, the villain role was originally meant to be male but it was changed to a female role when she was cast. Chopra revealed that when she received the script and saw that the villain's role was for a male, she asked for another role in the film. But the director liked the idea of her being a villain so they worked over the script again. Chopra will start filming on Feb. 29 and will juggle her schedule between "Baywatch" and her ABC series "Quantico" until mid-April.

As of the moment, details about the film is still limited but there are tidbits of information available such as the identities of the cast members. Slash Film reported that Johnson will be playing as Mitch, which was David Hasselhoff's character from the original series, while Efron will be playing as his partner in saving the beach.

Alexandra Daddario has also been cast and she will be playing the role of Summer, which was portrayed by Nicole Eggert in the original series. Comedian Hannibal Buress will also be making an appearance in the film, not as a lifeguard, but as a local in the community.
