'Beauty and the Beast' Season 2 Spoilers: Cat Faced With Difficult Choice In Finale

"Beauty and the Beast" returns to The CW tonight with a brand-new episode entitled "Operation Fake Date."

With just one more episode until the season two finale, fans are wondering what is in store for Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) in "Operation Fake Date." According to a photo released by The CW online this week, Cat and Vincent will have a heated discussion over breakfast in the season closer. The photo revealed Vincent in a robe leaning in anxiously while speaking to Cat with a pitcher of orange juice and pancakes between them.

Furthermore, Cat is going to have to make "a difficult choice about her future," all while Gabe is still around, reported CarterMatt. However, additional details about the season two finale are scarce.

As previously reported, Kreuk discussed her character's love for Vincent, even admitting that Cat would "absolutely" break rules to help him.

"She's going to do a lot of things that are against the law, and put her career on the line," Kreuk told TVLine.

In a different interview, Kreuk revealed that Cat and Vincent's romance would not suffer just because they are hiding and on the run.

"Vince and Catherine can find romance anywhere," she told MTV. "If you love somebody, you can be in any situation and it's romantic, even if you're in a toilet."

The actress has also promised "Beauty and the Beast" fans that the final episodes will prepare them for an exciting third season.

"You'll see Catherine and Vincent working together, trying to figure stuff out," she said. "And we might even see more of Catherine's family history that's revealed. All of that, I think, will be more in line with what the fans gravitate toward. [As for season three] we don't know yet because it's still early, but what I think [EP] Brad [Kern] will want to do more of that in the 13 episodes that we do next season."

"Beauty and the Beast" airs on the CW Mondays at 9 p.m. EST. The synopsis for "Operation Fake Date" is as follows: "Gabe tries to woo Cat by taking her on a romantic date."
