'Beauty and the Beast' Season 3 News: Cat and Vincent Look to 'Find a Life Together'

Fans of "Beauty and the Beast" couple Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) will be happy to know that the future seems bright for the two of them on the show's upcoming season.

Towards the end of season two, the chances of the show being renewed was uncertain for quite some time, but as soon as the show was greenlit for another season CW network president Mark Pedowitz credited the show's fan base for pushing for the show's renewal.

"Beauty and the Beast had a very engaged fan base. It had a very big international following. We brought it back because of what we are as a network, as well as the platform for our parent company. It's a very profitable show," said Pedowitz.

At the 2014 Summer TCA Press Tour, Pedowitz answered reporters' questions about many of the network's favorite shows such as "Supernatural," "The Vampire Diaries" and "Beauty and the Beast," according to E! Online.

"They're out in the public, they're a couple, they have to find a life together," Pedowitz said. He also revealed that there will be a time jump, as the season picks up "a couple months later" from where it left off.

The CW president also mentioned that Vincent will get his license back and become a medical doctor again.

"Spoiler alert: the sister comes back," he teased, confirming that Nicole Anderson who plays Heather, Cat's sister, will become a series regular.

Not only is Cat the only character on the show who will have a sibling in her life, but Tess, played by Nina Lisandrello, will also get the same thing, according to TVLine. The website is reporting that Tess's brother, Jamie, will be introduced in the upcoming season of the show.

As of now, no official date has been announced for the season 3 premiere of "Beauty and the Beast." However, the show will reportedly be back in 2015.
