'Beauty and the Beast' Season 3 Spoilers: Catherine Under Investigation by Internal Affair

A new promo still for the upcoming third season of the hit sci-fi, police procedural TV drama "Beauty and the Beast" and it featured the show's lead characters Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cath (Kristin Kreuk) looking aghast over something.

Director Stuart Gillard's social media post earlier this week said that "something is up" for Vin and Cat. The photo saw the two characters looking a bit surprised.

Enstarz reported that Catherine's credibility as a detective will be put in a spotlight as it has been said that an investigation will be conducted about her. She and her crew will be "at odds with the law" as Internal Affairs starts to meddle in their business.

Avid followers of the series should expect such events to eventually "change the entire dynamic of the show towards the end of the chapter," according to Spoiler Report.

E! Online previously pointed out that one primary character might be put in a dire situation when the new season returns to the small screen. The publication even went on to state that this person will be admitted in the hospital.

The report, however, clarified that it definitely won't be Tess (Nina Lissandro) but will be among Catherine, Vincent, and J.T. (Austin Basis).

Meanwhile, while the show is yet to kick off its Season 3 premiere, production for its upcoming Chapter 4 is already underway and will commence "at the end of May" which would be the same time Season 3 airs.
