Frankel, who filed for divorce from Jason Hoppy less than one month ago, has reportedly moved out of their marital home and into Lichenstein's $6.3 million Upper East Side, N.Y. apartment with her and Hoppy's 3-year-old daughter Bryn, according to Life and Style magazine.
"Bethenny and Warren have been great friends for more than 20 years, and he has really been a support system during this sad time," a source told Daily Mail.
Frankel, 42, announced her separation from the real estate agent in December just weeks before filing divorce papers. She recently appeared on the "Ellen DeGeneres" show where she broke down about her crumbled marriage.
"I feel like a failure. I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale. I thought I had it," a sobbing Frankel told DeGeneres.
Lichenstein has reportedly helped Frankel through her difficult time and she recently also spent time at the billionaire's Colorado mansion, according to reports.
"Bethenny will be staying with Warren this weekend at his vacation home in Aspen, Colorado. The two are just friends at this point," a source, who did not rule out the potential for a future romance, told RadarOnline.com.
A separate Radar report claimed that Hoppy, 41, had suspicions about Frankel moving on with another man toward the end of their marriage.
"Jason doesn't believe Bethenny cheated on him during the marriage, and he would be devastated to find out if she did," the insider said. "However, Jason does think that the talk show host did emotionally stray during the final months of their marriage with one of her Skinnygirl colleagues."
Fans recently flocked to social networking site Twitter to weigh in on the Frankel and Lichenstein dating rumors.
"Bethenny Frankel have you no conscience. Y break up a happy home for a richer man? Def wont last with Warren Lichenstein!" Kelly Adams tweeted.
"Bethenny left Hoppy for a richer big name. Typical. She always struck me as a gold digger on her show," Peter tweeted.
"Seriously? She sure don't waste anytime. Bethenny has a new boyfriend and is still not divorced, why am I not surprised," Claire M tweeted.
