'Better Call Saul Season 2' News and Spoilers: Season 2 Premiere Date Now Confirmed

Fans have been patiently waiting for the latest news about the second season of "Better Call Saul," and finally the good news arrived. Reports say that the show will be returning next month, Feb. 15, and viewers are excited to see what it will bring in its sophomore run.

"Better Call Saul" is the spin-off of the ever-popular show "Breaking Bad" and also serves as a prequel to the canceled series. The series shows Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) transition into becoming the conman, Saul Goodman, which fans all saw on "Breaking Bad."

During his interview with Slash Film, the show's co-creator and executive producer, Peter Gould, said that this season will feature Jimmy's "left-handed turns." "He goes to places we'd never, ever expected," Gould added. He also revealed Mike's (Jonathan Banks) fate in the upcoming season. "As for Mike Ehrmantraut (played by Emmy nominee Jonathan Banks), he's pulled deeper into a world he was sure he'd left forever. We can't wait to share the next chapter of Better Call Saul with the fans who have embraced the show." Fans are definitely looking forward to see the changes that will happen this season.

Meanwhile, Cross Map revealed that few of the "Breaking Bad" actors might be appearing in the second season of "Better Call Saul." The two characters that are rumored to guest star are Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), who was the drug lord that Walter White (Bryan Cranston) was working with in the earlier seasons of "Breaking Bad," and Tina Parker, who was Saul Goodman's secretary in the original series. Unfortunately, no details were released yet about the upcoming cameo of the said characters, so fans are definitely curious.
