'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Cast, Spoilers: Premiere Date for Next Season Announced

"Breaking Bad" was definitely one of the most successful shows of all time. Winning Emmys left and right, it had kicked of Vince Gilligan's storytelling about the lives of people in Albuquerque, Mexico. After five seasons, "Breaking Bad" had ended, and although many hoped that more seasons would come, Gilligan simply ended Walter White's story and shifted focus to the life of a character that was introduced in the series, Saul Goodman.

It was then that "Better Caul Saul" was born, a spin-off that was well-received by fans. The series revolves around Saul Goodman, a criminal lawyer. However, this story is not a continuation of the character Saul known in "Breaking bad" but rather a prequel of how Jimmy, as Saul was previously known, became the man he is. After the first season had ended, many have been clamoring for details as to when the second season will be airing, and AMC has now finally ended the wait.

According to Screen Rant, AMC took the time recently to announce in their official press release that the much-awaited Emmy-nominated series "Better Call Saul" will finally be returning on Feb. 15, Monday, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

A teaser of the second season was also revealed, "The series follows down-on-his-luck Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) as he navigates the moral dilemmas of the legal world while trying to step out of his older brother's shadow and make a name for himself. Season one found Jimmy stumble upon a large class-action lawsuit, which led to a promising job opportunity at a large firm. Having arrived at a fork in the road, will Jimmy take the straight and narrow path with a safe corporate job or will he fall back into his 'Slippin' Jimmy' con-artist ways?"

For now, fans look forward to seeing more of how Jimmy will take the road to his Saul Goodman transformation.
