'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers: 'Breaking Bad' Star Teases Upcoming Cameo
Throughout the first season of "Better Call Saul" and in the months leading up to its second season, fans of "Breaking Bad" have been eagerly waiting for news that their favorite characters will show up in the spin-off.
And now they have it. Aaron Paul, who played the role of Jesse Pinkman in "Breaking Bad," has just announced that he may appear in future episodes of "Better Call Saul." "Hopefully I will be involved," Paul told the press at the Television Critics Association press tour, where he was promoting the new Hulu drama series "The Path."
Though the actor couldn't reveal when his cameo will occur, he also said that he is "absolutely open to the idea." "Hopefully it happens. I'm all about it," the actor said.

Paul also teased what fans can expect from his future cameo, saying, "If I were to be involved, I can promise that it would be done in the most beautiful way, because there's no way they're going to bring Jesse Pinkman back just to bring him back." The actor said that a future Pinkman storyline would reveal how his "Breaking Bad" persona unfolded, which would be very exciting for fans.
The 36-year-old actor also revealed that he and "Better Call Saul" creator Vince Gilligan have been discussing Jesse Pinkman's role in "Better Call Saul" even before shooting for the show began. "He asked if I would be open to it, and I said of course. 'Anything you're involved with, you don't even have to send me the material. I'll just say yes. I owe you my career,'" Paul said.
Bob Odenkirk, who plays the lead role of Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman in the series, has also teased the upcoming cameos in Season 2, telling Variety, "The fans are going to go crazy." "Wait til you see who you see," he added.
Gilligan has previously revealed that fans of "Breaking Bad" will be seeing a familiar face from that show's first season in the next season of "Better Call Saul." The executive producer teased that it is a character that "Breaking Bad" viewers have not seen since Season 1.
The second season of "Better Call Saul" premieres on Monday, Feb. 15, on AMC.
