'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers: No More Playing Nice for Jimmy McGill

When "Better Call Saul" season 2 premieres next year, fans will get to see a different and more ruthless side of Jimmy McGill after he vowed never to play the nice guy again.

"Better Call Saul" showrunner Peter Gould revealed that main character Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) will embark on a journey to places he has never been before. He will also drop the Mr. Nice Guy act and fans will get to see his dark side in the second installment of the "Breaking Bad" prequel, according to an International Business Times report cited by the Venture Capital Post.

During the finale of season 1, McGill promised Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) that he will never again play straight. The previous season showed how the series of mishaps, including the death of his friend Marco, pushed him to move away, Realty Today reports.

In season 2, fans will see his transformation into Saul Goodman. They will come to know how he will become the well-loved criminal lawyer in "Breaking Bad."

"As for Mike Ehrmantraut, he's pulled deeper into a world he was sure he'd left forever," the Post quotes Gould's statement. "We can't wait to share the next chapter of 'Better Call Saul' with the fans who have embraced the show."

AMC recently released two trailers for the second season of "Better Call Saul. The first one titled "The Right Thing" shows McGill introducing himself as Saul. The second teaser titled "Dolla" gives fans a sneak peek into his other side, the report relays.

While there is already a confirmed release date for the show's second installment, there is still no word on when it will be available on Netflix in the United Kingdom and in the United States. But the series is expected to air live either simultaneous with the TV schedule or the following morning.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 airs Mondays at 10 p.m., beginning Feb. 15, 2016 on AMC.
