Beyonce, Jay Z Tour Coming to HBO

Beyonce and Jay Z's "On The Run" tour will be featured as an HBO special.

The married couple Beyonce, the 32-year-old singer, and Jay Z, the 44-year-old rap mogul, are embarking on the first tour they have headlined together. Although they have been featured on one another's musical efforts, HBO will capture the moment when the pair go to Paris as joint headliners for the first time in their only overseas tour stop next September.

"This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO," program chief Michael Lombardo said, according to Us Weekly reports.

While Jay Z's "Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film" was featured HBO last year, Beyoncé is currently appearing on the network in a 10-episode series from her own world tour called, Beyoncé: X10.

The singer mini series documents her Mrs. Carter world tour that began last year and ended earlier this year. News outlets like Time are reporting that fans can expect to see Beyonce perform songs like "Blow/Cherry," "Drunk in Love," "Ghost/Haunted," "Flawless/Yoncé," "Get Me Bodied/Baby Boy/Diva," "Girls," "Heaven," "Partition," "Why Don't You Love Me?" and "XO" in the series.

However, this is not Beyonce's first run with HBO. Two years ago the singer directed and starred in the HBO documentary, "Life Is But a Dream" which garnered 8.9 million views, according to Time.

In the documentary that aired on the network, the Grammy Award-winning singer revealed that she battles with revealing herself to the public.

"I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself," Beyonce said in the HBO documentary. "If I'm scared be scared, allow it. Release it."

Beyonce's HBO documentary, "Life Is But a Dream," gave fans an opportunity to hear the singer's thoughts about being married to rapper Jay-Z, surrogacy rumors and undergoing a miscarriage. The singer previously spoke to The Associated Press at the film's New York premiere about her reasoning for creating the film.

"I felt that after 16 years of being a public singer, people didn't know who I was," Beyonce told AP. "I will always keep certain things to myself because it's only natural."
