Beyonce Reveals Most Important Lesson She Will Teach Blue Ivy

Although Beyonce, 30, was named the world's most beautiful woman recently, the new mother said the biggest lesson she wants to teach her four-month-old daughter Blue Ivy concerns her perception of beauty.

"My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic," Beyonce told People magazine, the publication that named her the most beautiful woman in the world. "It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful."

The Grammy Award-winning singer told the magazine that giving birth made her feel truly beautiful.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," said Beyonce. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."

Since becoming a mother in January, the singer has been adamant about setting an example for her daughter. The singer even thanked first lady Michelle Obama for being a positive example for Blue Ivy in a letter written last month.

"Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us," Beyonce wrote. "I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."

Last month, the new mother, was spotted leaving an adult education center in New York City which caused many to speculate whether she was continuing her education to set an example for her daughter.

"Beyonce is going back to school to get her GED for her daughter," one fan tweeted. "Such an inspiration!"

The entertainer told People magazine that her daughter taught her how to love in a different way.

"The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," Beyonce said during her interview. "The word 'love' means something completely different now."

The singer is gearing up for her comeback performance after taking some time off to spend time with her new daughter.The singer and actress' first performances after giving birth will take place on May 25, 26 and 27, and coincide with the launch of the newly built $2.4M Revel entertainment center and resort in Atlantic City.
