Beyonce Shares New Blue Ivy Photographs, Fans React

Beyonce Knowles-Carter gave her fans another glimpse of 11-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Christmas Day.

Knowles-Carter, 31, took to her personal Tumblr account to share a photograph of herself holding her baby along with another partial image of a child. In the first darkened image of the singer, she is shown holding her daughter with both arms while puckering her lips as Blue Ivy gazes up at her.

In the second image, Knowles-Carter shares a photograph from Sept. 2012 where a baby's leg is the focus of the picture. Fans tweeted about their reactions to the new Blue Ivy photographs.

Since the images of Knowles-Carter's daughter with music mogul Jay-Z failed to show her face completely, some fans questioned if they would ever get a true glimpse of the baby.

"Beyonce will never let us see what Blue Ivy really looks like," one person tweeted.

However, another person considered it a gift that Knowles-Carter decided to even post updated images of her daughter on her Tumblr website.

"Beyonce gives us the best gift of all: Blue Ivy," the person tweeted.

Knowles-Carter last shared an image of her daughter on Thanksgiving where she was pictured planting a kiss on Blue Ivy's cheek. In another image shared on the holiday last month, the singer's husband Jay-Z is pictured holding the baby whose face was not completely visible in either image.

Last May, the Grammy Award-winning singer told People magazine that her daughter gave her a sense of purpose.

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," Beyonce said. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."

While the singer has no problem spoiling her daughter, she told People magazine that she also has important lessons to teach her first child.

"My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic," Beyonce told People magazine in May, the publication that named her the most beautiful woman in the world. "It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful."
