The rumor mill is grinding away today after reports that teen idol Justin Bieber has fathered a 3-month-old baby.

A 20-year-old woman in California claims the singer is the father of her baby, Radar Online reported Tuesday, and now she is slapping him with a paternity test.

In response, Bieber tweeted Wednesday, "All the rumors...the gossip....Im gonna focus on the positives....the music."

Bieber’s representatives released a statement, denying the allegations as “malicious” and “defamatory.”

“While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations,” Matthew Hiltzik, a Bieber representative, told TMZ Tuesday.

Bieber, 17, is currently dating actress and singer Selena Gomez, and has publicly taken a stance against casual sex. He has also spoken openly about his faith in Jesus Christ.

Mariah Yeater, who also has another child, claims the singer had sexual relations with her backstage at a show in Los Angeles when she was 19 years old. She filed a lawsuit in California requesting to take a paternity test to "scientifically confirm" he's the dad, according to Star magazine. Yeater is asking for financial support from Bieber.

The allegations are overshadowing Bieber’s latest Christmas album, also released Tuesday, titled Under the Mistletoe.

So far, the singer has avoided controversy and maintained a clean public image, telling Rolling Stone in January he does not believe in casual sex and is against abortion. According to KidGlue.com, he is “openly Christian.”

According to Radar, a court hearing is set for Dec. 15.

The singer sent out a second tweet, addressing the rumors, saying, “So Im going to ignore the rumors...and focus on what is real. an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!”
