'Big Brother' Recap: Exterminators Working to Eliminate McCrae

This week on "Big Brother," new alliances were made among the remaining five houseguests, and a new Head of Household was crowned. Who finally won his first HOH? Read on for all the details.

After last week's double-eviction episode, which saw power players Amanda and Elissa be evicted from the house, Judd, Spencer, Andy, McCrae, and GinaMarie were left to battle for the top prize. Judd, Spencer, Andy and GinaMarie became members of an alliance known as the Exterminators and successfully evicted Amanda and Elissa, their prime targets.

McCrae became more determined to play a better game given that his better-half, Amanda, was now gone. However, he had no idea that he was alone in the game since the Exterminators ruled the roost. At the Head of Household competition, Spencer won his first title. He then set in motion the Exterminators' plan to get McCrae out of the house so his alliance would be the sole members competing for the prize.

An episode of "Big Brother" would not be complete without twists, and Spencer was allowed to give his fellow houseguests "gifts" of friendship, wealth, and health. He gave the gift of friendship to McCrae and GinaMarie; the gift of wealth to Andy; and the gift of health to Judd.

Thanks to their gift, McCrae and GinaMarie were forced to spend 24 hours tied together with a friendship bracelet. As Spencer told GinaMarie before she became tied up, he wanted her to keep an eye on McCrae and not allow him to make any deals with Judd. He also said he was counting on her to keep McCrae unaware of the Exterminator alliance and the plan to evict him from the house.

At the nomination ceremony, Spencer announced that McCrae was going on the block because he had violated his trust one too many times. Spencer then named GinaMarie as the second nominee, but the house knows that she is just a pawn. What will happen, though, when the contestants play for the Power of Veto? If McCrae wins, one of the Exterminators is guaranteed to be a victim of their own plan.
