'Black Clover' Episode 4 Spoilers: The Magic Knights Entrance Exam Begins!

Asta and Yuno's journey towards becoming the next Wizard King is about to take a major turn following their arrival at the Capital on the Japanese action-fantasy series, "Black Clover." Can Asta really prove that a magic-less orphan like him can really become a Wizard King?

Childhood friends and present rivals, Asta and Yuno have left Hage Village on a journey towards the Royal Capital of Clover Kingdom, wherein the Magic Knights Entrance Exam are about to be held. The two of them spent the days leading up to their departure in training and improving their skills.

But since Asta has not yet developed any magic ability despite having already received his grimoire, nobody at the church, or even in the entire Hage Village, believed that he could make it except for his biggest critic, Nash.

The younger boy may not have said it out loud, but he has secretly decided that should Asta did become a Magic Knight, then he would also believe that his own dream of following his seniors' footsteps could come true.

Asta may not have magic abilities, but his seemingly limitless positivity really does have a way of inspiring the people he interacts with to chase after their dreams despite their current circumstances.

However, things are about to get tougher now that the exam is about to begin. Asta and Yuno's arrival at the Royal Capital will also bring them to the path of a number of other mages from the other parts of Clover Kingdom, as teased in the preview for the next episode aptly titled, "The Magic Knights Entrance Exam!"

Which mages will the two aspiring Magic Knights will be meeting and what type of magic will each of them be wielding? Can Yuno's magic abilities match up? Will Asta's fighting spirit be enough to him pull through the upcoming challenges?

"Black Clover" airs on Tuesdays at 6:25 p.m. JST on TV Tokyo and on Fridays at late night 12:58 a.m. JST on BS11. Episodes will also be available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
