Kohl's, which recently followed suit of popular retailers such as Target and Macy's in deciding to open its doors at midnight on Black Friday this year, has leaked its 64-page ad for one of the busiest days of the holiday shopping season.
For the first time ever, the store is offering $15 in Kohl's cash for every $50 spent.
Customers will find over 500 doorbusters which include 50 to 60 percent off all handbags, handbag accessories and wallets, 60 percent off all women's outerwear and sportswear and 50 percent off Chaps Sportswear Collection for men.
Additionally, customers will find deals such as 55 to 60 percent off the entire stock of Sonoma Life and Style Ottomans, a Pandigital Planet 7-inch Android Multimedia Tablet for $139.99, a Polaroid 7-inch Touch Screen Android Tablet with free accessory kit for $99.99, 30 percent off the entire stock of video games, 30 to 50 percent off select video game accessories and 40 to 60 percent off all fashion jewelry.
The day after Thanksgiving, known as Black Friday, is perhaps one of the busiest and most chaotic days of the year for stores as it marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season, with many retailers offering markedly discounted prices. Shoppers have been known to camp outside stores and wait in lines for hours prior to opening, eager to take advantage of some of the best sales of the year.
In 2008, a Long Island, N.Y., Walmart made headlines after an employee was trampled to death by a stampede of thousands of people as they rushed through the retailer's front doors at the store's opening on Black Friday.
Other retailers, such as Toys "R" Us, Lowe's and Best Buy have expanded their hours for Black Friday this year and will be opening at midnight in an effort to get a leg up on the competition with other retailers.
Kohl's will be opening at midnight and will stay open for the next 24 hours.
