Soundgarden recently reunited after an almost 10 year hiatus, and had a successful tour. Lead singer Chris Cornell fronted the band Audioslave while on the hiatus.

The new record will be released as the companion piece to the band's first live album, released earlier this year, Live On the I-5.

The new vinyl record was recorded during the band's 1996 tour and features "No Attention," "Never The Machine Forever" and a remixed version of the Doors' "Waiting For The Sun," that was taken from their soundcheck on Dec. 5 1996 in Oakland, CA at the Kaiser Convention Center.

"Room A Thousand Years Wide" was recorded from the PNE Forum in Vancouver, Canada on Dec. 5 1996, while "Somewhere" was taken from a Dec. 4 1996 soundcheck in Sacramento, CA at the Memorial Auditorium.

Nirvana
In honor of Nirvana's 20th anniversary for their groundbreaking album Nevermind, they will also be getting the vinyl treatment.

Selling 30 million copies worldwide, this record will mark the first time all four singles are reissued in a limited box set.

The box sets will be individually numbered and will also mark the first time Nirvana has ever been on a vinyl record.

Featured songs are "Smells Like Teen Spirit" with its B-sides "Drain You" (LP version), "Even In His Youth" and "Aneurysm"; "Come As You Are" (LP version) with the B-sides "Endless, Nameless" "School" (live) and "Drain You" (live); "Lithium" (LP version) featuring the B-sides "Been A Son" (live), "Curmudgeon" and "D-7" (taken from a John Peel session); and "In Bloom" (LP version) featuring live versions of "Sliver" and "Polly."

Each single will come in a slipcase featuring original artwork and pictures. UMe earlier this year released a two-disc deluxe and super deluxe box set to commemorate the influential album. Because of this, Nevermind reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts along with their DVD, "Live at the Paramount."

Pete Townshend
Legendary front man of the Who, Pete Townshend, will be getting a vinyl two part series of Quadrophenia, the Who's classic album known for its renowned imagery and powerful music.

The limited edition record will feature six demos from the upcoming "Directors Cut" box set of Quadrophenia out Nov. 15. The vinyl includes demo versions of "The Real Me" recorded in October 1972; "Cut My Hair" written in June 1972; "Punk" recorded in November 1972; "Dirty Jobs" recorded in July 1972; "Is It In My Head" recorded in April 1972; and a never released track "Anymore," recorded in November 1971.

The Quadrophenia Demos 1 is the first part of two exclusive releases with part two coming on Record Store Day April 2012. It will mark the first time these tracks are on a vinyl and will not be anyway else.
