'Black-ish' Season 4 Spoilers: Dre Worries About Ruby's Old Age; Diane Crushes On Zoey's Friend

The upcoming episode of "Black-ish" season 4 will see Dre (Anthony Anderson) worrying about his mother's state of mind.

The synopsis of the next episode, titled "Elder. Scam.," states that Ruby (Jenifer Lewis) will find herself on the receiving end of a scam, and she will fall for it. Dre will find out about this and, given that Ruby used to be the person who scammed others, will grow concerned that his mother is not perceptive as she was before. 

Meanwhile, Zoey's (Yara Shahidi) friend Aaron (guest star Trevor Jackson) will come by the Johnson house for a visit. When Diane (Marsai Martin) meets him, she will immediately start crushing on him.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It shows Dre and Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) growing concerned that Ruby is losing it. They observe her making strange gestures alone outside. Bow also tells Dre that she has seen Ruby throw rocks at birds. Ruby also easily forgets things and becomes unaware of her surroundings. She looks for her purse, which has been hanging on her shoulder all along. She also drives her car straight into the closed garage and proclaims that she is unhurt.

The trailer suggests that Dre will talk to his mother about her condition, but it does not look like she will listen to him. Despite her insistence that she is fine, it is clear that she is growing old.

The clip also previews Diane being smitten with Aaron as she sees him walking in the house. Bow feels understandably uneasy that Zoey has a boy in her bedroom, and Junior (Marcus Scribner) is of no help at all when he asks his mother whether she thinks Zoey is "active." When Bow acts like a worried mom, Zoey kicks her out of her room.

"Black-ish" season 4 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
