Actress Blake Lively poses at the BAFTA Brits to Watch event in Los Angeles, California July 9, 2011. Britain's Prince William and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, who are on a royal visit to California from July 8 to July 10, will attend the event.

Blake Lively went make-up free while waiting for a flight out of New York's JFK Airport this week, surprising fans everywhere with her natural look.

The "Gossip Girl" star is known for her Hollywood style and she is even the face of luxury beauty products, including Gucci Premiere. Furthermore, Lively has also offered several tips and insight to her own make-up regime. However, the beauty guru appeared fresh-faced and stylish in New York on Saturday, according to the Daily Mail.

Although Lively donned a black felt hat, it was clear that the actress opted to skip make-up during the outing. Despite the lack of make-up, the 26-year-old starlet was still well-dressed in skater shoes, skinny jeans, and a leather jacket worn over several layers and paired with a green scarf.

Lively's make-up free outing surprised fans since the actress is outspoken about her passion for "experimenting" with different products for different looks. Last year, the actress answered questions about her make-up choices while speaking to Harpers Bazaar. While Lively said she does not have a "go-to look," the holidays influence her style as well as her make-up.

"I think there's something about the holidays, they're so festive, that allows you to really play and be much more experimental," she said to the magazine. "I wear a lot more glitter around the holidays so I'm always wearing different glitter nail polish or fun metallic eye shadow."

The "Savages" star also cited her own beauty icons who inspire her red-carpet looks.

"I have tons of beauty icons from women now to women of time's past," Lively told Harpers Bazaar. "Jean Seberg, Katherine Hepburn, Diane Keaton- like come on, I see pictures of her now and she's the most beautiful women I've ever seen- and my mom."

Meanwhile, Lively's make-up free airport appearance arrived just days after the actress attended the Chime for Change event in NYC in a plunging mustard-colored dress paired with a red leather coat.
