Blake Shelton New Album News: 'Texoma Shore' to Include Songs About Singer's Ex-Wife

Blake Shelton revealed that some of the songs on his upcoming new album were inspired by his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert.

Shelton's upcoming album, titled "Texoma Shore," will be out this November, featuring at least one or two songs that talk about his past marriage with Lambert that ended in 2015, Entertainment Tonight confirmed.

However, the country artist reveals that the songs relating to his past in "Texoma Shore" might not be as personal as the ones he released in his previous album, "If I'm Honest."

"I don't think this one's as personal. ... There might be one or two songs that kind of feel like, you know, I lost my dog and my wife, but it's really just more about an overall feel," explained Shelton.

But overall, Shelton's upcoming album has a happy feel to it, which caught most of his fans off guard.

"For the most part I just made an album that feels how I feel now – that's just happy and go with the flow. That's kinda how the album feels when you listen to it," Shelton revealed.

Shelton admitted that he originally had no plans to release a new album this year. However, when one of his singles became a chart-topper, the artist decided to push with the new album.

"I called one day and said, 'Hey guys, when this current single runs its course, screw it. Let's come out with a new album,'" said Shelton.

Fans were interested to know if Shelton's upcoming album had a song that was related to his current girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. Given the success of their recent duets, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" and "If I'm Honest," a duet of the two in Shelton's new album could be something to look forward to.

However, Shelton confirmed that there were no duets by him and Stefani on his upcoming new album.

Shelton already promoted his upcoming album on his Instagram, posting what appears to be the cover photo of "Texoma Shore."

Shelton's "Texoma Shore" is slated to roll out on Nov. 3.
