'Blue Bloods' Season 6 Episode 7 Spoilers: Danny And Baez Help A Man Get Back His Prized Ride

The sixth season of CBS' hit police procedural drama TV series "Blue Bloods" is airing this week with a brand new episode that will reportedly veer away temporarily from the Reagan family crisis storyline. Meanwhile, Erin finds herself at odds with her father.

The spoiler report from Latin Post for the episode titled "The Bullitt Mustang" indicates that partners Danny and Baez will be tasked to investigate a robbery case involving a rich man whose Mustang got stolen. What makes the vehicle so special is that it is the only remaining Mustang from the 1968 film by Peter Yates, "Bullitt," where it was driven by actor Steve McQueen.

But what started as just another robbery case turns out to be something else. According to the media outlet, Danny and Baez will be working on a theory that the estranged wife of Owen Cairo, the owner of the car, is the one behind the theft. It appears that the soon-to-be ex-wife is bent on making the man's life miserable and taking away his most prized possession will somehow do the trick.

Despite the introductory statement saying that this week won't tackle the family's involvement with political scandals and other work-related ruckus, the show, however, will still touch on some inter-family issues.

As noted in the segment's summary from Spoilers Guide, Erin will be forced to work for the new acting District Attorney. The task is to arrest a number of New York Police Department officers who are suspected of fixing traffic tickets for their friends.

This move will consequently put her at odds with her father. As it turns out, Erin's new boss wanted her to help him create a corruption and crime-buster persona now that election time is already around the corner.

Find out how these events unfold when "Blue Bloods" Season 6 airs this Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
