Music industry power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé have finally released pictures of their month-old baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter.
Many celebrity couples, like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, have sold the initial pictures of their new bundles of joy for millions of dollars in a multi-page magazine spread, but Beyoncé and Jay-Z have taken a more unique route.
The couple instead have launched a new blog, HelloBlueIvyCarter, and posted some family pictures with themselves and their new baby girl.
On the site, there are two solo shots of Blue Ivy, one with her Mother and one with her dad, and another photo of the baby's tiny hand resting on Beyonce's.
Accompanying the exclusive photos are a note: "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family."

Beyoncé, who is nominated for a Grammy award this year for Best Rap song for her "Party" duet with Andre 3000, gave birth to Blue Ivy at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York on Jan 7. On Jan. 9, Jay-Z released "Glory," a song dedicated to his daughter. "Glory" described the couple's trouble conceiving and a previous miscarriage the R&B singer had and adds Blue Ivy's cries to the end of the song, giving her a credit.
At 2 days old, Blue Ivy became the youngest person to ever appear on a Billboard chart when "Glory" made its debut on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at number 74.
One of the song's most touching lyrics are, "The most amazing feeling I feel/Words can't describe what I'm feeling for real/Maybe I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you. You. Glory."
Baby Blue has possibly been the subject of more media scrutiny than her famous parents, but the couple is completely overjoyed.
"Hello Hello Baby Blue! We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support," the pair said in a statement after the baby's birth.
