'Bones' Season 9 Spoilers: Booth-Brennan Wedding 'Gives Back to Fans'

The upcoming episode of Fox's hit drama "Bones" is a highly anticipated one. The Oct. 21 episode will be the wedding of Booth and Brennan, an event that fans have been waiting for since perhaps the first season. Read on to find out more about the upcoming wedding and honeymoon, but be wary of spoilers.

David Boreanaz, who plays the role of Booth on "Bones," recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the coming nuptials between his character and Brennan, played by Emily Deschanel.

Apparently it took the writers some time to get the vows right.

"I wasn't happy with the first draft of the vows. I just wanted to have [it be] sort of a history lesson as to why they were getting married, how they were getting marred, why they did it and give back to the fans what they've been waiting for a long time," the actor told Entertainment Weekly.

Boreanaz also spoke about the honeymoon Booth and Brennan will take. It seems it will not be the most relaxing vacation for the newlyweds.

"Our honeymoon is hilarious. We go to Argentina. Booth just wants to kick back and have a beer and Brennan can't do that. She doesn't know how to relax," he said.

The actor went into more detail about how Brennan handles the honeymoon.

"She takes me to a morgue! A MORGUE! Where's the fun in that? So [he's], like, in [his] tourist clothes, and there's a murder and bones don't connect. And then there we are - solving a crime in Argentina when I should be toes up and cold one," Boreanaz said.

The Booth-Brennan wedding will air on Monday Oct. 21 on Fox at 8 p.m.
