'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' Latest News: Film Is Kishimoto's Gift to Fans; Rumored to Make or Break a Boruto Series

The weekend has become a whirlwind of thrill and excitement among millions of "Naruto" fans, but along with the release of "Boruto" Naruto the Movie" in select cities all over the United States, fans of the franchise's creator Masashi Kishimoto should celebrate as the mastermind behind the "Kagi Bunshin" technique said he has created an ending that will only make fans love the franchise even more.

For those who are still unaware of the magic behind the heart-warming stories of friendship and the adventurous journeys of the ninjas in "Naruto," Kishimoto said the movie that has long been awaited by the franchise's fans is actually his gift to all the people who believed and adored his masterpiece.

During the New York Comic-Con, Kishimoto discussed his thoughts about the movie. When asked about how he felt after the movie was completed, he said, "Actually, you know, I never imagined. I imagined it might get canned after the tenth week."

Discussing further how everything was hectic when he just finished the last chapter of the series, he said he was immediately indulged in the screenplay of the film all by himself. He also said he wasn't able to enjoy a honeymoon with his wife as he had been working on the series for the longest time.

Daily Dot pointed out that "Boruto is full of all the heart and emotional intensity of its predecessor. It's an obvious gift from Kishimoto to his fans..." The world has seen Naruto as a happy-go-lucky student, a loyal friend, an iconic hero, and a well-respected leader. In the movie, he is depicted by his son Boruto as a bad father, which makes the story line much closer to the hearts of fans who have known Naruto all this time.

Anime News Network made mention in its review of the movie that the movie is another door that could open for Boruto to lead his own TV show. Depending on how audiences will react to Boruto and his bull-headedness — which is obviously passed down by Naruto — the son of one of the greatest Hokages just might get a shot for his own show in the long run.
