Boston Bruins vs Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 4 of their NHL Stanley Cup 2013 Eastern Conference Finals series takes place on Friday night, with the Bruins looking to complete a sweep against their fierce rivals and claim their spot in the Stanley Cup Final. The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Penguins are seriously struggling in this series, and not many will believed they would be in this position after three games. However, their challenge is as clear as can be, they have to win every single remaining game of this series to win the conference and steal away the Stanley Cup final spot from Boston.
Tonight is a win or go home situation for the Penguins and will intensify the pressure on their players. But it is a pressure they will have to not only overcome tonight, but if they do manage to win here, the same pressure will be on in each of their remaining games in this series. Basically they can afford no slip ups at all from here on out.
Meanwhile the Bruins have been fantastic in this series and if they win it tonight not many could argue that they are worthy conference champs.
They performed fantastic in Game 1, and improved even further in Game 2 to put in a near-perfect performance. Game 3 was extremely tight with the desperation of the Penguins' players evident as they fought tooth and nail to win and claw back the series a portion. However, the Bruins managed to win through again in double overtime, meaning they now only need to win one of the next four games against the Penguins.
