Eastern Conference rivals meet at the TD Garden as the Boston Celtics host the Chicago Bulls in the regular season of the National Basketball Association.

The match-up is on January 22, 2016 at 7:30 PM ET.

This is their final meeting of the regular season, as they have clashed twice earlier in the year; this coming battle will determine who wins the series between them.

At the moment, both teams are doing relatively well in the season, with the Bulls behind the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Central Division as they are also trying to hold off the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons. 

On the other hand, the Celtics are also on the top half of the Atlantic Division, which is currently being led by the Toronto Raptors. The Celtics are being stiffly challenged by the New York Knicks for the second place in the group but at the moment, the Celtics are doing well despite what was initially predicted of the team.

In their first meeting of the season, they clashed at the TD Garden which resulted in a 105-100 win for the Celtics.

It was a close game throughout, with only the fourth quarter determining the winner after they were tied after three quarters.

In the win, Isaiah Thomas scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and made five assists in the victory, while the Bulls relied on Jimmy Butler who had 36 points and seven rebounds.

When the scene shifted to the United Center, the Bulls handled their business at home as they won 101-92. It was still a close game by half-time but the Bulls had a great third quarter to take the lead and eventually get the victory.

Pau Gasol led the Bulls with 17 points and 18 rebounds, while Kelly Olynyk had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Celtics.
