Boston Red Sox vs St Louis Cardinals Live Stream Free: Watch World Series 2013 Game 5 Online (Fox TV Schedule, Start Time)

Boston Red Sox vs St Louis Cardinals in Game 5 of the MLB World Series 2013 takes place on Monday night with the series back in deadlock following the Red Sox's victory in Game 4. TV coverage of the game will start at 7.30 p.m. ET on the Fox network, and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The drama is building in this series, and fans who were hoping for a tense Fall Classic of the highest quality have not been disappointed so far. In Game 3 there was drama as the Cardinals won with a walk off obstruction, but the Red Sox bounced back with a win in Game 4 to bring the series to 2-2 with three left to play.

The Red Sox will be hoping that Stephen Drew can finally break out of his slump. So far this postseason he has collected just four hits in 47 at-bats. That's a batting average of just .085, and his on-base percentage is just .102.

He has had a dramatic increase in strike outs in the postseason; during the regular season his strike out rate was just 24.8 percent, but that has increased to 34.7 percent in the playoffs.

Today he will be up against Cardinals' pitcher Adam Wainwright, and against him he has just 2 hits in 19 regular season at-bats, being struck out 5 times.

Wainwright himself will be hoping to raise his game having given away five runs in five innings in Game 1 of the World Series. After that game he admitted that his throwing was "pretty garbage" to The Boston Globe. St Louis needs him to get back to his best if they are going to move to within just one win of the title tonight.

Meanwhile for the Red Sox, Jon Lester will start on the mound to make this a rematch of the Game 1 pitching start-ups. In Game 1, Lester cruised through 72/3rds scoreless innings, allowing only five hits while striking out eight.

His work tonight will likely be supplemented by Boston's busy bullpen. A large part of the Red Sox's success this postseason has been thanks to the efficiency of their bullpen, and they have allowed just seven earned runs over 45.2 innings.

Boston have thrown the ball to Junichi Tazawa in all four games of the World Series thus far, and a total of 12 times in the postseason. He is likely to be a vital player for them again tonight.
