Boy Killed by Dad's Plow; Community Offers Full Support to Parents
The entire community of Greene, Maine is in shock and grief after a 6-year-old boy was struck and killed by a plow truck driven by his father. The accident occurred when the father did not see his son as he backed up into the driveway; now the community is reaching out to offer encouragement to the grieving family.
Nathan Capponi was pronounced dead after being hit by his father, Kevin, as he backed up in the snow-plow. Nathan was reportedly riding his scooter in the driveway when the accident occurred. The accident has left the town reeling and uniting to offer condolences and remember the life of the little boy.
"I can't imagine what he's going through," Melissa Carmichael told The Portland Press Herald.

Members of the small town gathered at a local convenience store to express their support for Kevin and his family. Father, Kevin, is devastated and he has posted on his Facebook page: "Please forgive me and my family. I love him with all my heart. It is now broken."
"There is no forgiveness needed, Kevin," Christopher Miller responded in a post. "Your family is caring and wonderful to be with. We feel joy whenever your family enters the room. You both look into the best for each other and the kids. Forgiveness is not what you should ask for at this time."
"My heart just breaks for this family! Sending prayers to you on this horrible time!" Julie Eaton posted on The Bangor Daily News website.
"How heart wrenching! I couldn't imagine going through such a tragedy! My heart is bleeding for all involved, especially Dad!" added Heidi Greenlaw-Bray.
No charges are expected to be filed, and officials have deemed the situation a tragic accident.
